New Concourse E Project, Bid Package 02

Description: Project consists of Trade Package 2: 03A - Structural Concrete: This trade package includes the furnish and install of all structural concrete for the New Concourse E including excavation and backfill of shallow foundations, and waterproofing system as they relate to this scope. Trade Package 3: 03B - Architectural Precast: This trade package includes engineering, manufacturing, furnishing and installing of all Architectural Precast Concrete Wall Panels on The New Concourse E. The Architectural Precast Concrete Wall Panels consist of corrugated patterns on the exterior face, spanning mainly across the entire Level 1 of the building, and some at the concourse level. Trade Package 4: 04A – Unit Masonry & CMU: This trade package includes the furnish and install of all Concrete Masonry Units (CMUs), mortar, grout, reinforcement etc. and related work associated with this scope. Trade Package 5: 05B - Misc. Metals & Stairs: This trade package includes the furnish and install of all interior and exterior metal stairs and railings, all necessary components for a complete stair system and all finishes. This trade package also includes all miscellaneous metals including pit ladders, pit grates, pipe guards, loose lintels, comer guards, metal ladders, luggage rails, all masonry wall supports, bollards, and various steel components. Trade Package 6: 07A - Waterproofing & Joint Sealants & Expansion Joints: This Trade Package includes furnish and installation of vertical exterior expansion joints, joint sealants and waterproofing on the exterior of the building above grade. Trade Package 7: 07B - Roofing: This trade package includes furnishing and installing all roofing layers and components needed for PVC Roofing across the entire roof level. This scope does not include the corrugated metal deck provided by others. In addition, this scope also includes the engineering, furnishing, and installation of snow guard systems across the roof. Trade Package 8: 07C - Metal Wall Panels: This trade package includes furnishing and installation of all metal panels and louvers above Architectural Precast Concrete Wall Panels, and Window Walls. The metal panels and louvers are to have similar aesthetic features to camouflage louver locations around the concourse. Trade Package 9: 08D - Window Wall & Skylights: This trade package includes engineering, manufacturing, and installing of all Unitized and Stick-built Curtain Wall, Glass Entrances and Storefronts, Punched Windows and Skylights on the New Concourse E. All exterior glazing products exposed to the elements are to be included in this scope of work. Trade Package 10: 11A - Façade Maintenance Equipment: Facade Maintenance Equipment: This trade package includes the engineering and furnishing of the facade maintenance equipment for both exterior roof application and interior planting application at the Hub. The installation of the facade maintenance equipment is to be done by others. Trade Package 11: 14A - Elevators & Escalators: This trade package consists of the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of the elevators, escalators, shaft and pit work, and all low voltage and electrical work required for installation and completion. Trade Package 12: 21A - Fire Protection: This trade package includes the furnishing, installation, testing, and commissioning of the fire protection systems for the New Concourse E Building. The fire protection includes wet systems with sprinklers and standpipes, dry systems, and clean agent systems in IT/MDF rooms. Trade Package 13: 22A - Plumbing: This trade package includes furnishing, installation, testing, and commissioning of the plumbing systems for the New Concourse E Building. This includes sanitary sewer, stormwater, and domestic water systems, as well as furnishing and installing all plumbing fixtures and bathroom accessories. Trade Package 14: 23A - HVAC: This trade package includes furnishing, installation, and commissioning of the HVAC system for the New Concourse E. The HVAC system is comprised of (i) dry mechanical systems, including air handlers, dedicated outside air units, exhaust fans, and ductwork; and (ii) a wet mechanical system utilizing distributed hot and chilled water via pumps throughout the building. This scope of work includes the installation of a new building automation system in the New Concourse E building. Trade Package 15: 26A - Electrical, Fire Alarm & Low Voltage Communications: This trade package includes furnishing, installation, and commissioning of the electrical equipment and distribution system for the New Concourse E. The electrical distribution system is comprised of low-voltage switchgear, motor control centers, distribution panels, feeders, transfer switches, grounding and bonding systems, lightning protection, interior lighting, exterior lighting, power monitoring and control system. This scope of work further includes installing and commissioning certain low-voltage systems, including fire alarm and communication systems. Trade Package 16: 31B - Excavation: The Excavation trade package includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform excavation, stockpiling or disposal of excavated material, backfilling, compaction, and maintaining safe excavation conditions in accordance with project plans and specifications. This scope also includes providing temporary ramps from the basement to the grade. Trade Package 17: 33A - Wet Utilities: The Underground Wet Utilities trade package includes the installation, relocation, adjustment, protection, testing, and commissioning of below-grade Sanitary, Storm Sewer, and Water Main utility infrastructure necessary to support the project. Trade Package 18: 33B - Site Electrical Utilities: The Underground Site Electrical Utilities trade package includes the installation, relocation, adjustment, protection, testing, and commissioning of below-grade electrical utility infrastructure necessary to support the project.
