About this conference

Innovation is the process of bringing new ideas, methods, products, services, or solutions to life, creating a significant positive impact. It involves transforming creative concepts into tangible outcomes that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, or meet unmet needs. In education, innovation happens when leaders apply new ideas to better satisfy the needs and expectations of students. The Principal Impact Conference focuses on these goals: 1. To provide school leaders with professional learning and resources to support creating a culture of innovation. 2. To provide leaders with relevant, research-based strategies to affect short and long-term practices in pedagogical shifts that foster innovative practices for student success. 3. To recognize and encourage the contribution of influential innovation leadership in education. The Region 10 ESC Administrative Services Principal Impact Conference provides a day of inspiration, collaboration, and practical learning designed specifically for today's campus leaders. Participants will hear from nationally recognized educator Jimmy Casas during the keynote session and engage in breakout sessions led by accomplished practicing principals from across North Texas. Throughout the day, attendees will gain practical ideas, proven strategies, and meaningful connections they can immediately apply to strengthen their leadership and positively impact their school communities. Every school day brings a new set of priorities, challenges, and opportunities. From supporting teachers and students to managing operations, engaging families, and responding to the unexpected, principals are constantly balancing multiple responsibilities while keeping their campuses moving forward. Leadership Under the Big Top celebrates the remarkable work of school leaders who successfully orchestrate the many 'rings' of campus leadership while keeping students at the center of every decision.
